Heat is more valuable than electricity! There are two biomass plants being proposed in Greenfield, and they are radically different projects. The Greenfield District Heating project wants to do biomass right, and believes it CAN be done right.
Let me tell you what a GOOD biomass plant would look like. |

(Cambridge, MA) Massachusetts Secretary of Environmental Affairs Ian Bowles ruled that Pioneer Renewable Energy has completed its Massachusetts Environmental Policy Act (MEPA) review and can proceed to seek the additional permits necessary to develop the proposed combined heat and power biomass facility in Greenfield after clearing its initial environmental review. |
